Oakland School celebrates Annual Horse Holiday

Troy — The Oakland School community will be hosting the 20th Annual Horse Holiday Dec. 8 starting at 3:00 pm.

The Oakland students and horses will be dressed in holiday attire for a parade from the Oakland barn to the holiday treat tree located in front of of the historic Big House. The tree is adorned with fresh carrots and apples for the horses.

The Annual Horse Holiday is an Oakland School tradition to appreciate the horses for the hard work the animals do throughout the the year.
