ALDIE — The Fluvanna forensics team placed fourth at the Region II Forensics Championships on Feb. 23.
The Flucos will send seven students to the state championships.
Nick Lauterbach took the regional championship for storytelling.
Two FCHS duos finished runner-up. Matt Anderson and Camden Cassell were second in humorous duo while Zach Dobrin and Jamie Hall were second in serious duo.
Heather Chambers and Mary Milton both finished third in impromptu and humorous interpretation, respectively.
The VHSL Forensics Championships are March 23 at Harrisonburg High School.
