Fork Union — Three Fluvanna girls’ track and field team members qualified for postseason meets.
Precious Banks qualified for the state meet in the long jump with a mark of 19 feet, 9 1/2 inches. Banks also qualified for the district year end meet in the 500-meter dash with a time of 1:25.74.
Greer Brown qualified for the Region II meet in the long jump with a mark of 15 feet, 11 inches.
Aesia Tolliver qualified for the Jefferson District meet in the 55-meter dash with a time of 7.84 seconds.
Fluvanna competed in the Wally Gilbert Invitational on Saturday, Dec. 12. The Flucos’ next meet is Wednesday, Dec. 16 the Estes Center at Fork Union Military Academy.
