Welcome to Fluco Blog! Where the news is Fluco News, All of the Time.

This is where we only care about Fluco news, an idea of our founder, Bryan Rothamel. With the help of his brother, Daniel Rothamel, Fluco Blog launched in Oct. 2009.

Quickly rising through the news reporting landscape, Fluco Blog has averaged over 30 visits per day since launch. In February 2010, Fluco Blog averaged 65 visits per day.

This success was helped with being the first to report the resignation of Cabell Lawton and the retirement of Dr. Tom Smith. Fluco Blog is often times the only report of Fluvanna County High School Athletics.

Being the first online-only news organization in Fluvanna County, Fluco Blog launched Fluco Blog Live! which covered home basketball games and followed the girls’ basketball team to the state tournament. The final broadcast had over 145 listeners ranging as far away as Colorado.

Not only does Fluco Blog distribute news through the main website, but also through Facebook and Twitter. By April 2010, Fluco Blog had over 760 fans on Facebook. Available in the Android Marketplace is the Fluco Blog app.

Fluco Blog is owned an operated by two Fluvanna County High School graduates.
